Our approach to therapy is different.
Waves 4 Women promotes psychological and physical wellness through small group therapeutic surf programs for women and girls who have experienced challenges and other life stressors. Our therapeutic surf clinics include a combination of small group surf instruction, wellness skills education, and group debriefing.
Many traditional treatments focus primarily on “negative” symptoms, highlight areas of weakness, and encourage a “victim” versus “survivor” mentality. Waves 4 Women empowers women by reframing challenges and adversity as opportunities for growth and utilizing a strengths based approach.
HOW IS THE PROGRAM FUNDED?
At this time, participants pay for the program cost. For women who are experiencing significant financial hardships, scholarship funding is available.
COSTS
The cost for one woman to complete a four-week therapeutic surf program through Waves 4 Women is $400.00. Additional information on program financials are available as needed.

All monetary donations are appreciated as each dollar makes a difference. If you are interested in sponsoring one or more women to attend a four-week therapeutic surf program (valued at $400.00 per participant) and/or work for a company/organization that would be interested in becoming a corporate sponsor, we would love to connect!
